We are glad Tom Pelkey is doing well after his eye surgery on Monday. We are glad he keep the snow in Warrensburg. It seems each time Tom has eye appointments the weather is not good.

Mt. Zion area missed most of the snow early in the week, but we got it Friday. Three to four inches; sure had been some big snow flakes. The neighbor kids made several nice snowmen. We have lakefront property again, ducks have already moved in.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm , Belle was enjoying the snow Friday. To her it was wonderful, beautiful and awesome. The best snow to make doggie angels, and did she make plenty. Robin enjoyed watching Belle; but doing chores in the snow knowing mud will come. Just part of farm life.

The Rockville Hand Quilters are working on another beautiful quilt. The quilt is make with tiny pieces similar to the flower garden and the maker is a young lady. Always glad to the younger women taking up quilt making.

Dixie Peterson is working and improving on her therapy at Truman Lake Manor. She has enjoyed her visitors.

Was a nice crowd at Ehler’s 25th anniversary sale Saturday in El Dorado Springs. Several from this area attended.

The Bunco Ladies enjoyed Bunko at the Lowry City Branch of the St Clair Library. You are welcome to join us  third Tuesday of the month at 1:15 p.m. Lots of fun even the losers wins a prize, pick up a book to read. Enjoy your tax dollars at work.

Tom Pelkey is glad for the wood fairy who have helped him keep the wood box filled. Glad he is able to be out and about.
