Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, Aug. 11 were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Gary Joe Dunn, Gayle Grinder, Eternity Dunn, Brent Baughn and Verla Murrell.
Those visiting Frances Lewis this past week were Gary Joe Dunn, Gayle Grinder, Eternity Dunn Verla Murrell, all of Deerfield. Frances had not been feeling good and had been to the doctor several times. She had not been to church for the past two weeks.
The Schell City/Harwood United Methodist Women will work in the Schell City United Methodist Church basement getting ready for their fall sale. They are working every other Tuesday. Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Aug. 11. Brother Cliff Bennett’s sermon “The Blame Game,” was taken from Genesis 3:1-13.
Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, Aug. 11. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon “Do Not Be Afraid,” was taken from Luke 12:32-40. Sunday School was held before church. Pastor Locke led the lesson “Community of Confession” taken from Nehemiah 9:2, 6-7, 9-10 and 30-36.
