Glen Cope, American Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Chairman, was the guest speaker at the Cedar County Farm Bureau Annual meeting Thursday, Sept. 12, in the El Dorado Springs Civic Center. Cope a native of Aurora was the state Young Farmers and Ranchers Chairman and elected to national office in 2012.

According to Cedar County Farm Bureau President Peggy Kenny there were about 130 people in attendance. She also said that door prizes were provided by local businesses and industry and State Congresswoman Sue Entlicher.

Maranda Taylor, Cedar County Farm Bureau agent, said, ”It is always nice to see our community join together for the good of our rural area.”

Kenny said, “We appreciate the continued support of Farm Bureau.”
