The morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Davis Hill. You are welcome to join us for worship Sundays at 9 a.m.

Mt. Zion area welcomed March 1, in like a lamb. The past week farmers are working in their fields, yards and gardens were being cleaned up. I’m sure we will have another taste of Winter before spring is here to stay. Don’t forgot to spring your clocks forward Saturday night before going to bed March 13, the time change is Sunday, this way you won’t be late for anything.

Enjoyed my call from Dixie Peterson. Dixie is still doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle wanted me to make it clear it was her who made tall sliding snow angels, not Robin. Belle is very happy they have their first calf baby. So far no little chickens. Robin is still working on knitting something.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey were among several neighbors who got their corvid-19 shot. Tom is working on refilling the woodshed, he has been in Missouri long enough to know Spring will not stay untill March 20. Probably snow. Beverly always keeps a well-stocked pantry. Wood fairly is hoping for a hat with spring flowers by Easter.

John and Julia Snethen kept their doctor’s appointments in Osceola Friday then, to Clinton shopping. Julia visited with Lesile Carpenter while shopping.

Wanda Rector enjoyed having the grandkids visit Friday. While there they cleaned up Wanda’s yard.  Wanda is thankful to have such a wonderful family they are only a call away.

Rockville Handquilters were happy to have Helen visit Thursday bringing material to share.  We are making progress on the quilts in the frame.
