On Monday, Jan. 24, at 1:37 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a grass fire west of town on EE. Hwy. Three trucks and nine firefighters responded.
On Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 10:37 a.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a residence on E. Hickory to a carbon monoxide call.
On Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 3:13 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a natural cover fire on S. 201 Rd. Three trucks and 12 firefighters responded.
On Friday, Jan. 29, at 1:03 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a small grass fire east of town on Hwy. 54. One truck and six firefighters responded.
Later that afternoon at 2:30 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a natural cover fire about 1⁄2 mile east of 39 Hwy. on US 54 Hwy. Three trucks and seven firefighters responded.
