Gary R. Hoover

Gary R. Hoover, 73, Big Spring, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at his home.

Gary was born in El Dorado Springs, on Jan. 6, 1949, the son of the late Robert Dale and Nadine (Sibley) Hoover.

He was the husband of Lois (Anderson) Hoover.  They were united in marriage on June 12, 1971, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nevada.

Gary has been the face and force behind Endless Summer Winery in Big Spring.  He loved telling stories and entertaining customers.

Gary is survived by his wife, Lois Hoover; three children, Mark Hoover, Angie Hoover and Laura Castaneda; six grandchildren; sister, Pat Bess; brother, Dennis Hoover, many sisters & brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was be held Tuesday, Feb. 8,  at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services followed with Father Philip Niekamp officiating.

Burial will be at St. George Cemetery, Hermann, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. George School. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
