Sunday morning worship service at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor John Demon. The message was entitled “When the father crosses his hands,” message scripture by Pastor John Yates from John 19:16-37 and John 20:24-27. Special music was by Pastor Angie Yates. You are welcome to join to join us for worship Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Study Tuesday 9 a.m.

Mt. Zion area has been busy. The leaves have appeared, the farmers have the corn planted, the wheat is growing and so pretty and green, flowers are blooming and several folks have gardens planted.

Sympathy to the family of Roberta Dines, her daughter, Patty, died this past week.

Sympathy to the Young, Hood, Snethen families. Janet Young’s daughter, Brandy Fuller Halvorson, passed away in Colgate, WI, and her funeral was Thursday at Roubal Funeral Home in Athelstan, WI.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is much happier, they have baby chickens, they are more her size and don’t grow up to be bigger than her and gang up on her like the calves did. Belle is looking forward to finding wild asparagus. Robin told Belle it’s not wild, some of her relatives planted it a long time ago. Robin and Mabel are enjoying the little people recently.

Wanda Rector has been on the road again. Enjoyed taking her granddaughter and daughter to breakfast in Harrisonville shortly after dawn, then the ladies enjoyed shopping. Wanda got home a little afternoon.

Terry and Judy Piepmier have been keeping doctor’s appointments regular, getting good reports for the shape they are in.

John and Julia Snethen kept her doctor’s appointments and hair appointment. She took her sister, Janet, nephew, Brandon, and granddaughter, Lexie, to Wisconsin on Tuesday night for her daughter’s funeral and returned home on Friday. John and Julia did some shopping in Clinton on Saturday.

The Appleton City P.A.C.E. exercise class helped their leader, Dortha Swope, celebrate her double-digit birthday which was on Easter this year. Wishing her a happy birthday, we wish a proper tummy tuck when we reach our double-digit birthday.
