Fishermen and women on the bridge have been catching catfish, one nice walleye, stripers. Netting shad at the dam.

Fishing is good on trotline with gold fish and cut bait. Blue are hitting the cut bait. A few flatheads are hitting god fish. The river is back to normal with good water movement. You have to net your own shad at Caplinger or somewhere. Check with Caplinger Woods for the Corps schedule on running water.

I’ve seen blues up to 25 lbs. My wife saw a good string of fish somebody caught on the trotline.
