Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of January 16, 2024 through January 22, 2024

January 16, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Christopher Hon at the Probation and Parole Office in Osceola for a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond is $20,000 cash surety.

January 17, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Goodrich Drive in Osceola for a domestic disturbance.  Brittney Brewer was arrested and is being charged with Domestic Assault 3rd Degree.

January 17, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Haydee Suranofsky at the St. Clair County Courthouse for a St. Clair County warrant for Domestic Assault. She was released on recognizance ordered by the judge.

January 17, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to East Burbank Street in Appleton City for a check well-being. Deputies found subject to be healthy and well.

January 17, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to West 2nd Street in Lowry City for a structure fire. Deputies arrived on scene to see Lowry Fire extinguishing the fire. Deputies spoke to Red Cross regarding the fire.

January 17, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to East 2nd Street in Lowry City for a check well-being.  Deputies announced who they were with no response and proceeded inside. Deputies found subject deceased. Coroner arrived to take possession of the subject. Investigation is ongoing.

January 17, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Lisa Smith at the St. Clair County Courthouse on an Osceola Police Department warrant for Resisting Arrest and Assault 4th Degree. Bond is $3,500 cash only.

January 19, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Megan Vance at Chillicothe Correctional Facility on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is $2,000 cash only.

January 19, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Courtney Allen at the Barton County Jail on St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is $10,000 cash surety.

January 19, 2024- St. Clair County deputies received a call regarding an animal bite that occurred on Northwest B Highway, Appleton City. Subject brought a new cat home and her dog and cat were fighting. Subject received scratch wounds from the cat and was unaware of vaccinations. Information was taken.

January 20, 2024- St. Clair County deputies received of a Careless and Imprudent Driver on Northbound 13 Highway. Deputies arrested Elisa Tate for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported to the St. Clair County Jail.

January 20, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southwest 400 Private Road, El Dorado Springs, for a harassment call. Information was taken and investigation is ongoing.

January 20, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to West 4th Street in Lowry City for a domestic assault. Deputies arrested Marquis Dortch for Domestic Assault-3rd Degree.

January 21, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Amber Wilson on an Osceola Police Department warrant for Operate Vehicle Without Valid or No License. Bond is $135 cash only.

January 21, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest 451 Road, Osceola, for a domestic assault. Deputies arrested Jason Tindall for Domestic Assault-2nd Degree.

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of January 23, 2024 through January 29, 2024

January 23, 2024- St. Clair County deputies received a call at Appleton City High School in regards to a juvenile. Investigation is ongoing.

January 23, 2024- St. Clair County deputies received a call from another agency in regards to endangering the welfare of a child. Investigation is ongoing.

January 23, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest 451 Road, Lowry City in regards to shots being fired. Bryan Gurley was arrested and charged with Unlawful Use of Weapon. Bond is $30,000 cash only.

January 24, 2024- St. Clair County deputies conducted a traffic stop on Old 13 Highway, Collins, resulting in the arrest of Joseph Batchelor. Joseph is being charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

January 25, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested Harry Tiller at the Greene County Jail on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance and two Osceola Police Department warrants for Driving While Revoked/Suspended and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is $15,000 cash surety on St. Clair County warrant and $534.50 cash only on Osceola Police Department warrants.

January 26, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to West 4th Street in Appleton City for a report of damage to property. Deputies took a report of damage to a soda machine and the investigation is ongoing.

January 27, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to North Ohio Street in Appleton City for a report of assault. Information was taken and a report was made.

January 28th, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 1131 Road, Humansville, for a report of property damage. Vehicle went through the reporting party’s fence. Informational report was taken.

January 28th, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to a walk-in at the Sheriff’s Office in regards to trespassing on Northeast 450 Road, Osceola. Suspects removed a game camera from the property. Investigation is ongoing.

January 29, 2024- St. Clair County deputies responded to a call regarding a vehicle that left the scene of an accident in Eldorado Springs. Deputies were patrolling on 82 Highway when a vehicle passed at an excessive speed. Suspect was pulled over and Highway Patrol assisted in the arrest of Haiden Overton. Haiden is being charged by St. Clair County for Exceeded Posted Speed Limit (Exceeded by 20 – 25 Miles Per Hour).

January 29, 2024- St. Clair County deputies arrested John Sieleman II at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office on a St. Clair County warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and a Bates County warrant for Failure to Appear-Non-Support. Bond is $10,000 cash surety on St. Clair County warrant and $300 cash only on Bates County warrant.
