In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On June 19, 2018, officers arrested Tommy K. Roofe, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for a Miller County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear to answer to Insufficient Funds check with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On June 19, 2018, officers arrested John J. Cox, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to appear. He was transferred to Cedar County Jail after his court appearance.

On June 19, 2018, officers arrested Nathaniel J. Petitt, 27, of Nevada for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear. He was transferred to the Vernon County Jail after his court appearance.

On June 20, 2018, officers responded to 402 South Ohio concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of jewelry and a dog. The dog was located and returned to owner.  A report taken and the investigation continues. 

On June 21, 2018, officers responded to 1414 South Summer Street concerning a reported larceny.  The investigation revealed the theft of a gray hand truck, and 2 gas cans. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 21, 2018, officers responded to 100 East Hospital Road concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of city utilities. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 21, 2018, officers responded to 119 West Broadway concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of city utilities. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 21, 2018, officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a bottle of alcoholic beverage. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Stephanie M. Meek, 36, of Jerico Springs, charging her with shoplifting (larceny). She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On June 22, 2018, officers responded to 1107 South First Street concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a motorized bicycle and a Bella Beach Cruiser.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 23, 2018, officers arrested John D. Taylor, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear with the original charge of Non-Support in excess of 12 Monthly payments due, with a $500.00 cash bond.   He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and at court appearance.

On June 23, 2018, officers arrested Jacob J. Patalsky, of an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear per Court Order, with $1304.00 bond, and a Cole County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on an original charge of Operating a Vehicle with No Valid License, with a $500.00 bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. 

On June 23, 2018, officers responded to 903 South Jackson concerning a reported burglary. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 24, 2018, officers arrested Stephanie J. Fisk, 36, of El Dorado Springs, a Cedar County Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Passing Bad Check with a $200.00 cash bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.
