In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On July 10, 2018, officers responded to 601 East Joe Davis concerning a reported domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Joshua D Carter, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Domestic Assault. Officers complete a probable cause for the charge. Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Domestic Assault 2nd Degree, with a $25,000.00 cash bond.

On July 10, 2018, officers arrested Keith A. Daniels, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for St. Clair County Warrants, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of No Child Restraint, No Seat Belt, and Speeding with a total bond of $181.00. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On July 12, 2018, officers responded 706 South High Street concerning a reported stolen motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a green 2002 Kawasaki Ninja 250R motorcycle.  The vehicle was later located and returned to the owner. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 12, 2018, officers responded to 500 East Fields Street, Trailer# 25, concerning a reported domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Isaiah D. Laforteza-Ohman, 22, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On July 12, 2018, officers responded to 215 West Gay Street concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of small green wagon for a child. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 12, 2018, officers responded to 500 East Fields concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black and pink bicycle. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 12, 2018, officers responded to 502 South Forrest concerning a reported suspicious vehicle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Falen M. Andrews, 35, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with Driving While Suspended. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On July 13, 2018, officer arrested Dakota L. Haak, 20, of Stockton, for Cedar County Warrants, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Failed to Register Vehicle, with a $100.00 cash bond, Fail to Display Plates on Motor Vehicle/Trailer, with $200.00 cash bond, and No Insurance with Seat Belt violation with a $250.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On July 13, 2018, officers arrested Lawrence L. Hill Jr, 52, of El Dorado Springs, for a Lawrence County Probation Violation Warrant with no bond, a Cedar County Warrant for Probation Violation with no bond, and a Lamar Municipal Court Warrant charging him with Contempt of Court with a $188.00 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearances. 

On July 13, 2018, officers responded to 1301 East Industrial Drive, Southwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center concerning a reported assault. A suspect was identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 15, 2018, officers arrested Steven A Caudill, III, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for a State Probation Violation Warrant, for the original charges of Receiving Stolen Property and Burglary, with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.
