In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On April 15, 2019, officers arrested Thomas R. Hill, JR, 43, for a Bates County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, with a $1,000.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On April 16, 2019, officers responded to 100 East US 54 Highway, Casey’s General Store parking lot, concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a ring of keys and a 1500 watt, SSL Amplifier. A report taken and the investigation continues

On April 16, 2019, officers responded to 316 West Spring concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of two, tank water heaters. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 16, 2019, officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, Apt 27, concerning a reported burglary. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Megan R. Rigg, 29, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with Peace Disturbance. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On April 16, 2019, officers responded to 101 Winner Road concerning a reported domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted on the arrest of James C. Talamo, 61, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Domestic Assault-4th Degree, and Property Damage-Second Degree. Officers completed a Probable Cause Statement for these charges. On April 17, 2019, officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging Talamo with Domestic Assault-Fourth Degree, with a $10,000.00 bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On April 17, 2019, officers responded to 209 North Park concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. The investigation revealed the theft of a gray, 1991, Ford Crown Victoria with Missouri License MN8G1T. The vehicle was later recovered; however, the car battery had been stolen from the vehicle. A suspect has been identified and the investigation continues.

On April 17, 2019, officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle, Apt 16, concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Benjamin L. Griffith, 32, for a Vernon County Felony Probation Violation Warrant charging him with Assault on a Special Victim and Resisting/Interfering with Arrest for a Felony, with no bond. He was transported to the Vernon County Jail pending a court appearance.

April 18, 2019, officers arrested John R. Fisher, 35, for the probable cause of Tampering, Burglary, and Stealing.  Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging Fisher with Second Degree Burglary, First Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, and Stealing with a $25,000.00 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On April 19, 2019, officers arrested Dustin J. Erickson, 19, of El Dorado Springs for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Displaying the Wrong License Plates, with a $125.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On April 19, 2019, Cedar County Deputy arrested Erin M. Jones, 37, of El Dorado Springs for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Revoked, with a $651.00 bond. She was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On April 20, 2019, officers responded to 307 West Pine concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of an orange, Echo, curve shaft weed eater.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 21, 2019, officers responded to 404 South Ohio concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a 14K gold ring with a green stone. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues
