In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On May 13, 2019, officers responded to 225 West Hickory concerning a reported burglary and larceny. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On May 14, 2019, officers arrested Angela K. Barlow, 39, for a Cedar County Capias Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of First Degree Property Damage, with no bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance. 

On May 15, 2019, officers arrested Heather A. Younce, 41, for a Bates County Felony Warrant charging her with Non-Support, with a bond of $4,500.00, 10% cash, no surety, and a Pettis County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Driving Without Insurance, with a $150.00 cash bond. She was released on bond pending court appearances.

On May 16, 2019, officers arrested Donald W. Hixson, 29, charging him with Violation of an Order of Protection. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On May 17, 2019, officers arrested Bret A. Leaver, 50, for a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Passing Bad Checks, with a $400.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On May 17, 2019, officers arrested Christopher S. Christensen, 22, for a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Third Degree Assault with a $15,000.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On May 17, 2019, officers responded to 215 West Hickory concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a red lawn mower and a key fob to an SUV. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On May 18, 2019, officers responded to 101 Winner Road concerning a reported domestic disturbance. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On May 18, 2019, officers arrested Colton R. Harris, 23, of Nevada, for a Bates County Felony Warrant charging him with Drug Trafficking in the Second Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with a $25,000.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.
