In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

June 5 – Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on the 400 block of South Park Street.  The investigation revealed a juvenile riding a bicycle west bound on Marshall Street failed to stop for a stop sign striking the side of a 2016 Ford F-350 traveling north on Park Street. The juvenile was transported by ambulance with minor injuries to Cedar County Memorial Hospital.

June 6 – Officers responded to 117 West Spring for a report of property damage. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

June 8 – Arrests: Christopher N. Jackson 38, of Overland Park, KS, for an active St. Clair County warrant charging him with failure to appear with the original charge of operated a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident with a $500 bond.   He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Harley D. Perry, age 37, of El Dorado Springs, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

June 9 – Arrests: Jacob J. Patalsky, age 35, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal arrest warrant charging him with failure to appear with the original charge of obstruction the duty of an officer. Patalsky also received a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was transported to the Cedar County jail for holding until court appearance or the bond is posted.

Anthony R. Penington, age 27, of El Dorado Springs, for 12 hour protective custody and first degree trespassing. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

June 10 – Arrests:  Ryan L. Lutes, age 19, of El Dorado Springs, for minor in possession of alcohol. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

June 11 – Officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle apartment 17 for report of a domestic assault. The investigation led to the arrest of Cary J. Greathouse, age 20, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of domestic assault 3rd degree and larceny. Greathouse he being held on a 24 hour hold pending an arrest warrant.
