In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On April 17, 2018, officers responded to 109 East Joe Davis concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a “mini chopper” motor bike. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 17, 2018, officers arrested Steven A. Caudill II, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrants, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Trespassing, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Shoplifting with a total bond of $2,118.50. He was returned to the Vernon County Jail pending court appearance on other charges.

On April 17, 2018, officers arrested David T. Griffith, 29, of Nevada, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear per Court Order on the original charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with a bond of $553.00.  He was released after a court appearance.

On April 17, 2018, officers responded to 700 South High Street concerning a reported assault. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 17, 2018, officers responded to 116 West Oak Street concerning a report of a vehicle blocking a driveway. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Taylor D. C. Robinson, 25, of Richards, for probable cause, Larceny of a Vehicle, Larceny under $500.00, Driving While Suspended and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, to include two Vernon County Warrants charging him with Stealing of Motor Vehicle with no bond. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. The vehicle located at scene had been reported stolen and was returned to owner. Robinson was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending court appearances and additional charges.

On April 19, 2018, officers arrested Kenneth C. Cerny Jr, 44, of El Dorado Springs for two active Cedar County Warrants, charging him with Failure to Obey Judge’s Orders on the original charges of Damage to Jail Property and Domestic Assault 3rd Degree with no bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

On April 19, 2018, officers arrested Darren A. Edmiston, 19, of El Dorado Springs, for Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Probation Violation on an original charge of Stealing a firearm with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On April 20, 2018, officers responded to 511 South Main concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of candy bars. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 20, 2018, officers responded to 115 East US 54 Highway, Pitt Stop, concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Waylen D. Poore, 37, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Littering, Trespassing, and Resisting Arrest. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On April 21, 2018, officers reported to 102 North Summer Street concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jennifer J. Garrett, 32, of El Dorado Springs, an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear per Court Order, on original charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Peace Disturbance and Possession of Marijuana, with a $378.50 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance. Also arrested was Jesse M. Hill, 36, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On April 21, 2018, officers responded to 1600 South Ohio, El Dorado Christian School, concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a white tailgate from a white 2005 Chevrolet 1500 pick-up-truck.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 22, 2018, officers arrested David W. Tyndall, 45, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Probation Violation on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.
