In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

May 1 – Officers responded to the 400 block of South Park concerning a report of indecent exposure. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jarrett J. Beeks, 45, of Stockton, for the probable cause of sexual misconduct in involving a child.  Officers completed a probable cause statement for the charge. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging Beeks with the Class E felony of sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

Arrests: John D. Taylor, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant, charging him with failure to appear with the original charge of non-support with a $2,500.00 cash bond.   He was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Melisha D. Page, 34, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging her with probation violation on the original charge of possession of marijuana, burglary and larceny with no bond.  She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

May 2 – Officers responded to 115 West Marshall concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrests: David R. Burns, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for a St. Clair County warrant, charging him with driving while suspended and resisting arrest, with $5,000 cash bond. He was transferred to the St. Clair County jail pending a court appearance.

Steven A. Caudill II, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charges of trespassing and stealing with a $552 bond. He was released bond pending a court appearance.

Nathan J. Vance, 25, of El Dorado Springs charging him with driving while intoxicated, careless and reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

May 3 – Officers responded to 215 West Hickory concerning a reported larceny. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Shelly L. Haynes, 40, of El Dorado Springs, for a St. Clair County warrant, charging her with resisting or interfering with arrest or Detention, with a bond of $2500.00.  She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

May 6 – Officers responded to 700 South Park, apartment #6, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of medications. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to the 200 block of West Broadway concerning a report of property damage. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Angela K. Barlow, 37, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with property damage. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.
