ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF

  Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made 12 arrests, took a theft, a burglary, and a damaged property report during the week of May 28-June 4, 2018.

Warrant Arrests

Gregory Duffy- On June 4, Gregory Duffy, 42, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Henry County warrant for a probation violation on an original class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

Jemmy Long- On June 4, Jemmy Long, 52, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class C misdemeanor of assault in the fourth degree. Bond is set at $3,500 cash or surety.

The charge comes after an incident on May 5, when a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to the Pilot Travel Center in Collins in reference to an assault.      

Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with William Brown. Brown stated he was power washing the concrete by the gas pumps when a male subject, Jemmy Long, approached him, yelling at Brown. Long stated he had just washed his motorcycle and did not want Brown spraying it with dirt all over it. Brown stated Long became very agitated and pushed him with both hands. Brown stated he radioed the store manager and asked her to call the Sheriff’s Office.      

Brown stated that he and Long argued a few more minutes and Long made threats to Brown and his family. Traci Castle, Long’s girlfriend, came outside and convinced Long to leave.      

The deputy collected witness statements and video footage from the store. Photographs were taken of the marks on Brown’s body.

Darrell Warner- On June 4, Darrell Warner, 36, Blue Springs, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony for non-support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support. Bond is set $1,500 cash only.

Michael Davis- On June 3, Michael Davis, 35, Atoka, TN, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 11-35 grams, and a class D misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended. Davis was booked and released pending formal charges.

The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy pulled over the vehicle Davis was driving for an equipment violation and traffic violations. The deputy made contact with Davis. A record check revealed Davis’ driving privileges were revoked out of Tennessee. During the conversation, Davis gave the deputy consent to search the vehicle. During the search marijuana was located along with a glass vile containing a white residue. Davis said the vile belonged to his friend and that his friend had cocaine in it.

Marcus Beesler- On June 2, Marcus Beesler, 28, Cabool, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class A misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Beesler was booked and released pending formal charges.

The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy pulled over a vehicle that Beesler was driving for an equipment violation. The deputy made contact with Beesler and explained that he was going to give him a warning for the equipment violation. The deputy then asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle. Beesler broke eye contact with the deputy and stared at the vehicle. The deputy explained that he would work with him the best he could, as long as Beesler was honest with him. Beesler explained to the deputy that there was some marijuana paraphernalia in the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, the paraphernalia was located where Beesler said it would be.

Monishia Brown- On June 1, Monishia Brown, 21, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a probation violation on an original class C felony of forgery and a class C felony tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree. Bond is set at $5000 cash only.

The original charges come from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Headquarters on July 18, 2015.

Daniel Robertson- On June 1, Daniel Robertson, 26, Lee’s Summit, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Robertson was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after the car that Robertson was driving was pulled over for a traffic violation. After the deputy made contact with the driver, Robertson stated the deputy could search the vehicle. During the search the deputy found two pipes and a gun that the passenger said was in the vehicle.

Michael Owens- On June 1, Michael Owens, 48, Clinton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Owens was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after the car, that Owens was a passenger in, was pulled over for a traffic violation. The driver stated the deputy could search the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle two pipes were found, along with a gun that Owens said was in the vehicle.

Christopher Ratliff- On May 31, Christopher Ratliff, 52, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with an ordinance violation for expired license plates and no insurance. Ratliff also had a Henry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a class B misdemeanor for failure to register motor vehicle. Total bond is set at $454.50 cash only.

The ordinance charges stem from a traffic stop by the Osceola Police Department on Sept. 23, 2017.

Sandra Marconi- On May 30, Sandra Marconi, 47, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County Warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance, class E felony driving while revoked/suspended, class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and a class C misdemeanor exceeding the posted speed limit by 11-15 mph over. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The original charges stem from a traffic stop on March 25, 2018, after a St. Clair County deputy stopped a vehicle Marconi was driving for a traffic violation. After making contact with Marconi, she admitted to the deputy that she had a revoked license. The deputy asked for consent to search the vehicle. Marconi agreed. During the search a case containing a glass pipe was found. The pipe field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamines.

Laura Patidar- On May 30, Laura Patidar, 40, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a city ordinance complaint summons for a nuisance violation. Bond is set at $200 cash only.

The charge comes from the Osceola Police Department on Feb. 8, 2018.

Dakota Jeansonne- On May 29, Dakota Jeansonne, 27, Ash Grove, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a class D felony possession of a controlled substance, class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and a class D misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended. Jeansonne was booked and released pending formal charges.

The arrest comes after Jeansonne was stopped for a traffic violation. The deputy made contact with Jeansonne and he admitted to the deputy he had a revoked license. A records check revealed this to be true along with multiple prior convictions for no driver’s license.

A K9 was called to the scene. An exterior sniff test of the vehicle was performed. The K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics. During a search of the vehicle a plastic wrapper with a white crystal residue was located along with a glass pipe. The plastic wrapper field tested positive for methamphetamines.

Burglary in Collins

On June 3, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to SE750 Road in Collins in reference to a Burglary.

Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Ryan Hart. Hart stated that he had two men’s rings and two engagement ring sets in a black bag, that was left on the bed at his girlfriend’s house.  The last time he seen the bag was on May 29. Hart could not find the bag when he returned on June 3.

The deputy asked if anything else of value was missing. Hart stated as far as he could tell, nothing else was missing. No forced entry was found on the residence.

A request for prosecution was signed. Estimated total loss value is $11,000.

Property Damage in Collins

On May 29, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to Highway 13 and SE 400 Road in reference to property damage.

Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the property owner, Richard Tucker. Tucker stated sometime between May 24 an May 26, someone drove off of Highway 13 and went through his fence, breaking the wire and damaging fence posts. Tire tracks could be seen going through the field and then leave through a gate near Tucker’s house.

Estimated loss value is $501.

Theft at Kings Prairie Conservation Area

On May 29, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to the Kings Prairie Conservation Area in reference to a theft from two bulldozers.

Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a Conservation Department employee. The employee stated the two bulldozers were parked in a tree line and was not visible from the road. They stated an unknown person(s) cut the padlocks off both battery compartments, cut the battery cables, and stole two batteries out of each of the bulldozers. All four batteries were John Deere brand.
