The El Dorado Springs boys basketball season came to an end on Wednesday night with 55-43 loss to the Lamar Tigers in the first round of district play.

The Bulldogs entered districts as the six seed and jumped to early 15-9 first-quarter lead against the third-seeded Lamar. The Tigers took the lead back and the Bulldogs trailed 25-21 at the half.

The second half stayed close throughout with the Bulldogs closing the gap to three with three minutes left in the game. But that was as close as they could get and Lamar pulled away for a 55-43 win.

Brayden Housh led all scorers with 19. The Bulldogs finished the season 11-14.
