Bulldog baseball loses

In the second round of district baseball play Monday evening in Ash Grove, the Bulldogs lost to Lamar 7-6.

AD Mike Durnell said the score was 2-2 going into the 7th inning. The Bulldogs had the tying run on 3rd but couldn’t get a timely hit, Durnell said.

When the game began, the Bulldogs scored a quick two runs, then came an hour and a half lighting delay that kinda cooled off the team’s edge.

The Bulldogs had beaten Lamar handily in a recent game.
