On Saturday, Dec. , t the Bulldog Wrestling team traveled to Lone Jack to compete in the Lone Jack Kickoff Classic wrestling tournament. The Bulldogs scored enough points to win first place as a team for the third year in a row.
In individual competition Keilan Jaques took first place at 195 pounds and Josh Haberle took first at 120 pounds. Taylor Wingert wrestled all the way to the championship, but lost taking home 2nd place at 160 pounds. Hunter Boyles 152 pounds and JT Pope 126 Pounds also got to the awards podium by placing 3rd in their weight classes.
ElDo wrestling then traveled to Versailles to compete in the Versailles Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 8. The Bulldogs wrestled hard and took home six individual awards including Keilan Jaques (195 pounds) 2nd place, Dylan Gallette (220 pounds) 2nd place, Jace Shinn (106 pounds) 3rd place, Cameron Hargrove (160 pounds) 3rd place, Duane Perkins (170 pounds) 4th place, and Josh Haberle (120 pounds) 4th place.
The Bulldogs continue their season this week by traveling to Cherokee, KS, on Thursday and then wrestling in The Battle at Katy Trail tournament on Friday and Saturday.
