The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Seneca, last Monday to play the Lady Tigers of Lamar in the first round of district play.  The Lady Bulldogs shot the ball well in the first half, but weren’t able to pull away from the Lady Tigers due to unforced turnovers and foul trouble.  The score was close in going into the locker room with the Lady Bulldogs holding a 32-25 lead.  In the third quarter the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a big lead, executing on both ends of the floor and went into the fourth quarter with a 55–29 lead.  In the fourth quarter, the Lady Bulldogs struggled with turnovers and the Lady Tigers started hitting their outside shots and began to close in on the Lady Bulldogs.  The Lady Bulldogs lead would be to much, as they were able to hold on for 71-61 victory.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs was:  Tevi Gurley 22, Reese Schaaf 16 and Dani Ogle 14.

The first round victory, placed the Lady Bulldogs into the semi finals against the number one seeded Lady Mountaineers of Mount Vernon.  The Lady Bulldogs came out and played very well on the defensive end holding a very good Mountaineer team to 23 points in the first half, but offensively the lady Bulldogs struggled from the field scoring just 10 points.  In the third quarter, it remained a defensive game as the Bulldogs only gave up 8 points, but were only allowed to score 4, bringing the score to 14-31.  In the fourth quarter, the Lady Mountaineers offense came alive scoring 22 points and the Lady Bulldogs continued to struggle to make shots only scoring 5 and ending their season with a 18-53 loss.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs was :  Tevi Gurley 8 and Dani Ogle 5.  The Lady Bulldogs finished the season with a 15-11 over all record and second place in Ozark Mountain Conference.
