On Tuesday, Nov. 21, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Sherwood to take on the Lady Marksmen.

The Lady Bulldogs played fairly well in the first half, forcing turnovers and attacking the basket on the offensive end and took a five-point lead into the locker room at half time.

In the third quarter, they ran into some foul trouble and really struggled to keep Sherwood from getting offensive rebounds. Sherwood took a one point lead late in that quarter before the Bulldogs went on a run, and got a three point lead going into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth, the Lady Bulldogs were able to make free throws down the stretch and take the game 47-39.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Paige Esry 36; Taylor Robison 5; Alexis Tough, Amy Ford and Brittany Stevens each with 2.

Monday night, the Lady Bulldogs made the trip to Warsaw for the first round of the Warsaw Tournament where they were the sixth seed and took on the three seed Lady Blue Jays of Cole Camp.

Once again, the Lady Bulldogs did a good job of attacking the basket and hitting timely three pointers to take an early five point lead into the half, 25-20.

In the second half the Lady Blue Jays would make runs at the lead, but the Lady Bulldogs never gave it up. Late in the third the Lady Bulldogs pushed the lead to 9 and in the fourth they were able to finish defensive possessions and hit on 8 of 11 free throw attempts to finish the game with the win 55-45.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs: Paige Esry 35, Brittany Stevens 6, Amy Ford 6, Taylor Robison 5, Jace Cundiff 2 and Kelsey Thomas 3.

The Lady Bulldogs will face the Lady Bears of Butler on Wednesday in the semi final game.
