In the first round of District 12 play on Tuesday, Oct. 23, the El Dorado Springs VolleyDogs took care of the Stockton Tigers in two games, 25-21 and 25-16.
The team (5-7-2) was waiting for an 8 p.m. start of their district championship match against either the Butler Bears (22-9-1) or the Lamar Tigers (15-10-2).
El Dorado Springs was seeded No. 1. Butler was seeded No. 2. Lamar – No. 3, Skyline – No. 4, Stockton No. 5, Pleasant Hope No. 6 and Warsaw No. 7.
