In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Law enforcement activities
The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 109 requests for assistance this past week, May 10-16. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 7, Animal Control 14, Assist Other Agencies 11, All Escorts 0, Nuisance 4, All Other Requests for Assistance 73, Summons 13.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.
Police Report
On May 10, 2021, Officer received a report of a larceny that occurred at 500 South Jackson Street. The investigation revealed the theft of a debit card.
On May 12, 2021 Officers arrested Christopher Bagby, 26, of Shell City for the Probable Cause of Stealing and Fraudulent Use of a Credit or Debit Device. On May 13, 2021 Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging Bagby with Stealing and Fraudulent Use of a Credit or Debit Device with a cash only bond of $2,500.00. Bagby was transferred to the Cedar County Jail for holding until a court appearance or he post bond.
On May 12, 2021, after a brief vehicle pursuit Officers arrested Brandee G. Lawson, 44, of El Dorado Springs for the probable cause of Driving While Revoked/Suspended, Resisting Arrest, Felony Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On May 13, 2021, Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging Lawson with Driving While Revoked/Suspended, Resisting Arrest, Felony Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a $50,000.00 cash bond or 10% to be paid by the defendant. Lawson was transferred to the Cedar County Jail for holding until a court appearance or he post bond.
On May 12, 2021, Officers arrested Diamond Marshall, 22, of El Dorado Springs for the probable cause of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.
On May 12, 2021, officers responded to 510 East Gentry for a reported disturbance. Officers arrested Clifford O. Wood, 59, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Domestic Assault 4th Degree. Wood was released on summons pending a court appearance.
On May 13, 2021 officers arrested Shelby M. Wilson, 23, of Asbury for an active Barry County warrant for Failure to Appear on the Original Charge of Driving Under the Influence with a bond of $505.00 cash only. She was released on bond pending a court appearance
On May 13, 2021 on a routine traffic stop, officers arrested Leta R. Singleterry, 28, of Shell City for an active Cedar County warrant charging her with Fail to Appear on Original charges of Driving Under the Influence with a $500.00 cash only bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.
On May 14, 2021 officers received a report of larceny from a motor vehicle occurring at 1401 South Park. The investigation revealed the theft of a purse with a Social Security card and a license inside. A report taken and the investigation continues.
