I just had the best French fries ever. They were crinkle cut and very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and just salty enough for me. I shall completement the chef tomorrow.
Speaking of chefs, our local folks are getting ready to feed everybody:
Monday, May 27 – noon to Dark – Fish Fry Fundraiser – Lions Club park – All you can eat $15, Kids 5-12 $7 Kids under 5 free.
Sunday, June 2 – 11 to 2 Kickin Chicken Dinner and Silent auction – Senior Center – 2 piece chicken dinner $12 – $9 for 1 pc meal.
Wednesday, June 5 – 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Ham and Bean or Taco Soup Fundraiser – American Legion – donations accepted.
I thought I had found someone to mow my lawn – and I think I still have, but with rain coming almost every day, I think I’ll have to be satisfied with someone coming along and picking up sticks and limbs, that is if they can find them.
Jack and Diane and their good friend, Caddee, are making the transition to summer. They are slowly acquiring a new wardrobe and leaving their old clothes all over the floor.
