Chamber hears about good dads

GOOD DADS, STRONG SCHOOLS MEETS IN ELDO – Cheryl Thornton gave an update on Good Dads, Strong Schools by reporting that the group has held a breakfast in the El Dorado Springs Elementary Cafeteria where Dads and their children can come before school and eat breakfast together and participate in a short program,. There were about 50 – 60 dads and children that attended.

On a Jan.  14, 2025 the group plans to host our first weekly class for dads.  The program will be Good Dads 2.0, within my Reach and Fundamentals of Fatherhood throughout 2025. When dads are engaged, families are healthier, neighborhoods are safer, and  the economy are more robust, and school are stronger.

Help from the community to sponsor our Good Dads, Strong Schools breakfast and/or provide some raffle prizes.
