BULLDOG SPEECH TEAM COMPETES

On Saturday, February 15, the El Dorado Springs HS Speech Team spent the cold, rainy day competing at New Covenant Academy in Springfield.  While the weather was dreary, the team heated things up by placing in several events. Earning hardware was: Haydin Miller and Crayton Thorell placing 5th place in Duo, Haydin Miller placing 6th in Storytelling, Wyatt Wilkinson placing 5th in Informational Speaking and 7th in Poetry, Aden Williams placing 6th in Original Oratory, and Audrey Goatley and Davion Taylor earning 2nd place in Improvisational Duet Acting.

This was the team’s last regular competition of the year before heading to Odessa for Districts later this month.
