Message from the Chief Deputy
As July comes to an end, the summer heat is still hanging around. Please remember to drink plenty of water, check on your family, friends, and neighbors, and never leave children or pets inside a vehicle.
Our deputies are out every day and night working to keep Cedar County safe, but we also depend on our community. If you see something that doesn’t look right, please let us know. Sometimes a simple phone call or tip can make a big difference.
If you have information about criminal or suspicious activity in Cedar County, you can send us a tip at tips@cedarcountysheriff.com.
As always, thank you for supporting the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office. Stay safe, stay cool, and have a great week.
Chief Deputy
Clay Jeffries
