News from Harwood

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will close around 2 p.m. Friday, April 14, and will be closed for the Easter holiday weekend Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16. She will reopen Monday, April 17.

The Harwood-Schell City areas got a well needed rain on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25. Maybe it will not be so dangerous for grass fires now.

Orval Moore, who lived in Harwood most of his life and then he and his wife, Linda built a new house west of Harwood and around the Fair Haven area, is not doing very well and would enjoy seeing or hearing from his friends.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and friend, Rosie Taylor, attended the community dinner at the First Baptist Church at El Dorado Springs Sunday evening, March 26.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, March 26. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon was taken from I Timothy 1:28-43.
