There are plenty of family events to occupy your time this Sasturday, Oct. 15, in El Dorado Springs. This will be the 12th year for the Spring City Reviltaztion Group Chili Cookoff. Cookers and other vendors will be set up on West Spring. Cooking starts at 9 a.m. and the public tasting is at 11:30.

Chili Cook-off ticket will go on sale on Thursday, Oct. 6, at the El Dorado Springs Sun office and at State Farm Insurance. Tickets are $5 for a bowl, a spoon and a drink and the right to vote for your favorite chili. Tickets are $6 the day of the chili cook-off.
