Dale Lee Ray, born Jan. 18, 1959, passed away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2018, the day after his 59th birthday. Graveside service will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, in the El Dorado Springs Cemetery.
Lucy Mae Garrett, 75, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 21, at her home following a lengthy illness. Lucy was born April 1, 1942, in Deerfield to Aldric Ellis and Virginia Aldeline (Harding) Pettibon. On April 6, 1968, she married Leonard Garrett in Miami, OK, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2007.
Orville W. Hood, 98, formerly of El Dorado Springs, passed away at his home in Overland Park, KS, on January 19, 2018. Services were held on Monday, Jan. 22, in the Overland Park, KS, Church of God (Holiness). Orville was laid to rest in Love Cemetery in Cedar County.
George Richard “Dick” Salsbury, 86, of Harwood, passed away Jan. 10, 2018. Services were held Saturday, Jan. 13, in Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Burial followed in Brownington Cemetery.
Dwight R. Hamby, 83, El Dorado Springs, passed away Jan.11, 2018, in Cox South Hospital, Springfield. He was born May 22, 1934, to John Raymond Hamby and Vina Merely (Taylor) Hamby in Perrin, MO. Dwight’s biological father deserted his family, wife, and two daughters in July, 1936. Dwight spent his early life in the Forest
Ashley Nicole Bledsoe, 32, passed from this life on Jan. 3, 2018, at her home in Boynton Beach, FL. She was born in Tulsa, OK, on April 22, 1985, to Mark and Jamie (Gannaway) Bledsoe. Ashley was the oldest of three daughters. She was a bright and joyful person, always happy and always smiling. Ashley

Berneta Ann Rawson, 64, of El Dorado Springs, passed away Dec. 29, 2017, at her home. Services began at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, in Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Burial was in Living Faith Mennonite Cemetery (Walker) under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
