by Madison Hendricks, 12. On Friday, Sept. 9, the El Dorado Springs cross-country team had their second meet of the season. They competed at the Nevada Public Golf Course and crushed their competition. The high school boys raced at 6 p.m. and finished with first place, with several of the boys earning top 10 medals.

On Saturday, September 17, the El Dorado Springs cross country team headed to Joplin, for the Missouri Southern Stampede, a cross country meet at Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course. The Eldo Bulldogs lost to University Academy Charter on Friday night by a score of 6-50. Despite losing, the Bulldogs were able to move up a spot in their district rankings. The Bulldogs are now 1-3 on the season and will play a familiar conference opponent, the Butler Bears, on Thursday night at 7 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs travelled to Lamar on Thursday. JV2-25-10, 25-19 JV1-16-25, 25-21, 14-16 Varsity-25-17, 27-25, 25-21 Varsity competed in a Quad at Webb City. We played Webb first and lost in three sets, 25-11, 25-18, 25-19. We then played St. Mary’s-Colgan and won in three sets, 25-20, 25-14,25-16.
