Auction results from Cedar County Youth Fiar 3 cb Grand Champion Market Goat 3 cc

GRAND CHAMPION MARKET GOAT – at the 2016 Cedar County Youth Fair, shown by Cheyenne Lame, was purchased by Cedar County Farm Bureau represented by Clay Doedon, Don Boulthinghouse and Peggy Kenney. Cheyenne also received Intermediate Market Goat Showmanship.

Reserve champion goat 2 cc

RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION GOAT – shown by Macy Stauffer  was purchased by by Cabbage Feed at the Cedar County Youth Fair.

Grand champion lamb 2 cc

GRAND CHAMPION LAMB – Glen Van Bummel  exhibited the Grand and Reserve Grand champion lambs at the 2016 Cedar County Youth Fair. He also was the Senior Sheep Showman and Senior Market Goat Showman. Grand Lamb was purchased by United Country Realtor Emily Mehl.

RESERVE CHAMPION MARKET STEER – shown by Jadyn Lower. Farmers Market of Bolivar Inc. represented by James Rickman paid at $650 premium for the 1,196 lb. animal.

Grand Champion Market Steer 3 cc

GRAND CHAMPION STEER – at the 2016 Cedar County Youth Fair was shown by Kraysen Leonard. The 1,314 Maine Anjou crossbreed was purchased at the auction by Cedar County Cattlemen’s Association premium only for $1,000. Clay Doedon, Don Boultinghouse and Tom Bryant represented the Association.

LAMB WINNERS – at the 2016 Cedar County Youth Fair were (from left) Glen Van Bummel – Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb, Reserve Grand Champion Ewe Lamb and Senior Showmanship; Wyatt Graves – Grand Champion Ewe, Trey Graves – Intermediate Showmanship and Olivia Graves – Junior Showmanship.
