50th Hillsman family reunion

Descendants of Albert and Nancy Jane (Snow) Hillsman gathered for the occasion on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the El Dorado Springs Community Center with approximately 80 present.  Blessing was given by Bennie Hillsman and a basket dinner followed.

Present for the gathering were Brent and Ryan Budd – Junction City, KS; Scott, Kelly, and Blythe Barton – Louisburg, KS;  Leroy and Dorotha Swopes – Appleton City; Dennis, Sheila, and Dennis Floyd; Michael, Shelly, Sydney, and Myka Barger; Don and Jo Hertzberg; Ralph and Wilma Zartman; Rob, Shelly, and Lexy Zartman; Cory, Whitney, Joseph, Morley, and Renn Gayman; Don and Elayne Hillsman; Jarrod, Tammy, Garrett, Madison, Macie, and McKinli Mays; Brian, Erin, Bailey, and Copper Budd; Bobby and Frances Budd; Colton, Shelby, and Emory Loane; Sam and Phyllis Bradley; Benny and Donna Brower; Todd Hillsman; Steve Bradley; Marie Hillsman; Jim, Rose, and Harlee Mott; Michael, Toni, Nica, and Rebeca Hillsman – El Dorado Springs;  Henry and Carolyn Taffner – Lamar;  Jason, Bobbi, Hadley, and Tatum Abbiatti – Lockwood;  David Hertzberg – Oronogo;  Derek, Danielle, Colt, and Clara McLerran – Osceola;  Bennie, Debi, and Jake Hillsman; Clarence and Dorlis Hillsman; Brent and Vicki Hillsman – Schell City;  Raymond and Clara Mae Garrison; Justin Oberly – Springfield;  Bart and Traci Davis – Wheatland.

Activities for the day included group photo, a basket lunch, family reunion prizes, taking pictures, lots of catching up, swimming, and various activities offered at the community center and in the downtown area.  The next reunion will be held on July 7, 2019 at the El Dorado Springs Community Center once again.
