BEEF PRODUCERS ATTEND CONVENTION – The Missouri Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show was held Jan. 7-8, at Tan-Tar-A Resort. Three officers of the Cedar County Cattleman’s Association attended the conference. Clay Doeden, vice president, Tom Bryant, state director and Megan Richner, secretary. Cedar County was selected as the Top County for Beef Promotion during the convention. This was awarded for utilizing social media to promote beef. During Beef Month, Facebook was used to promote a beef raffle, with over 700 people participating in this promotion.  Clay Doeden and Megan Richner were elected to leadership roles on the state level. Clay will serve as the Missouri Cattleman’s Association Region 6 vice president and Megan will serve another term as Missouri Cattlewomen’s Association vice president.Tom Bryant and Clay Doeden won Top Hand recruitment awards.
