Cards of Thanks

Thank you so much to family and friends for all the prayers, support, visits, flowers, cards, food and many messages and calls. Thanks to Sheldon Funeral Home for their care, understanding and patience. Thanks to Don Barger for being there in our time of sorrow for the inspiring words at the service. Thanks for pallbearers who helped to carry the casket. Thanks to Brother Devin for the supporting calls. Thanks to El Dorado Springs Missionary Baptist Church for the wonderful meal they prepared. So may friends at such a trying time.

Heroes with Angel Wings

Along with healthcare workers everywhere, Cedar County Memorial Hospital is staffed with Angel Heroes.

During a recent Covid stay, I can’t say enough about the exemplary care given me.

The angels that touched my stay were: Dalene, Debbie, Annette, Dr. Wyant at the walk-in clinic. At the ER it was Kathleen, Dr. Smith, Stephen and a woman who wheeled me to the Covid unit.

From there it was: Becky, Lynette, Jacquie, Denise, Kelsey, Josie, Breann, Missy, Lorraine, Milissa, Nikita, Lori, Amanda and from X-ray, Josh and Debbie.

The staff is overworked but everyone was always pleasant and beyond.

Any overlooked names are not intentional but due to Covid Fog.

The Family of Jim Floyd would like to thank everyone for the calls, prayers, food and flowers following our loss.
