A motion was made by Wilson to approve the agenda with changes, seconded by Sinclair, 5 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried. Changes include; “Construction on New Building” as New Business subtopic A.
Previous Minutes:
Motion made to approve minutes from the meeting of 10-16-17 as presented, made by Sinclair, seconded by Kasco, 5 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried.
Public Forum:
No guests, other than press, were present.
Financial Reports:
Motion was made by Kasco to approve the financial report, seconded by Wilson, 5 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried
Manager’s Report:
Tom expressed the need to purchase two new suction units for cleaing patients’ airways like the ones we bought a year or so ago. The ones they are working with now are left overs from a previous company and have failed when needed. He is to get some price quotes and bring them to the attention of the board next month.
One of the Garmin’s broke so Wilson made the motion to purchase a new one, at “Black Friday” prices not to exceed $200. Motion was seconded by Kasco, 5 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried.
Motion was made by Sinclair to accept the manager’s report as presented, seconded by Norval, 5 ayes, 0 nays, motion carried

Unfinished Business:
New Building Financing:
The financing is done and squared away. A $62,000 construction draw has been issued and the project is well underway.
CPA Kalena Kenney Bruce said that the banker on the new building did not discuss selling bonds which she said was done. She said several banks and individuals would have liked to purchase the bonds keeping the money in the county. It’s done now.
New Business:
New Building construction. Mostly discussed the drainage system in the ambulance bays, and the color of the building. No motions or anything to report. Will be continued next month
Rusty Norval is in favor of John Deere colors. Nadine Sinclair favor AllisChalmers colors. Chairman Wilson said, “Moving right along.” The board decided on sand colored bricks for the first four feet, then painted metal.
