CCMH BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEMBER

Julia Phillips, RN, has been on our Board of Trustees since 2015 and brings to the table many, many years of experience as a Registered Nurse here at Cedar County Memorial Hospital, serving at times as interim Director of Nursing. She was born and raised in the Fayette, MO, area and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia before transferring to St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She met her husband, Bob, on a blind date while she was at Mizzou; and the rest as they say is history. They have three children, five grandchildren and one more on the way. Julia and Bob raised their family on the ethic of Faith, Family, and Work — seems to be a great plan that has worked out well for them. Julia loves to quilt and garden; but if she had her pick, she would spend as much time with her grandkids as possible — another great plan! Julia would like to see continued growth for the hospital and as a Board member strives to see excellence in healthcare provided for each individual patient.
