Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation received donations of new Scentsy Buddy stuffed animals for pediatric patients at the Citizens Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.

CMH clinic registration support specialist Megan Romesburg and her Scentsy team hosted a Scentsy Buddy Drive for the hospital in June. The team surpassed their goal of 250 Buddies and recently delivered more than 300 donated stuffed animals, valued at over $5,000, to Citizens Memorial.

“When kids are in an emergency situation and an unfamiliar environment, these stuffed animals can help lessen their anxiety and ease their fears,” says Chad Garner, RN, director of hospital nursing operations. “The more we can make kids feel comfortable, the better we can treat them and get them back home quickly.”
