Community Springs Healthcare Facility (CSHCF), El Dorado Springs, received first place in a recent state-wide facility involvement contest. CSHCF is a 105-bed long-term care facility owned and operated by Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation (CMH), Bolivar.

Sponsored by the Missouri Health Care Association (MHCA), participating long-term care, assisted living and residential care facilities across Missouri submitted newspaper entries featuring their facilities as front-page stories. The entries were divided into two categories, color and black and white.

CSHCF won first place in the black and white category. Ash Grove Healthcare Facility, another CMH facility, received honorable mention in the color category.

“The entries involve a lot of planning and coordination throughout the year and captures the highlights and activities as a year in review process,” says Chris McBratney, CMH Administrative Director of LTC West.

The winning entries will be on display during the annual MHCA convention in August 2019, and can be viewed on the MHCA website: https://bit.ly/2UdCdRh.
