The Opera House Arts Council proudly presents The Duke Mason Band, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Opera House Theatre in downtown El Dorado Springs..

Duke Mason is a special performer because of his unique height of only 46 inches. However, his talent and charismatic personality bring a respect and dignity to his singing that only few are chosen to have. A truly multi-talented and exciting performer, Duke sings, plays guitar, keyboard, bass and drums.

Duke presents a very versatile type of entertainment that includes “Elvis”, the fifties, country, classic rock and gospel that will please any audience. Duke is well known and loved for his rendition of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. Duke has performed with the legendary Jordanaires and appeared on programs with country greats including George Jones, the Blackwoods, Albert E. Brumley Jr., and many others. He has appeared as a soloist and piano player for country music singer Tommy Overstreet. Duke has been a guest on various television programs including “The Maury Show” and “Real People”.

This is definitely a show you don’t want to miss that will please everyone of all ages. Advance tickets are $10 and available at Allison’s Quick Lube, Mid Missouri Bank, Fugate Motors in El Dorado Springs, Madelyn’s Kitchen in Schell City and Hacker’s Jewelers in Nevada. Tickets will be available at the door for $12.
