On March 29 and 30, the fire chief, Bob Floyd, investigated three calls concerning two fires and one gas leak. No actions were required.

At 4:58 p.m. on April 1, the department was dispatched to a natural cover fire at the 700 block of Allison Rd., It took approximately 45 minutes to resolve the issue. Fourteen firefighters responded with Trucks 6 and 8 and Tanker 1.

On April 2, four firefighters were dispatched to residence on Main St. for a lift assist.

On April 2 at 4:26 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a residence on E. Twyman St. to a fire on the side of the house. Minor damages to the outside siding. Fourteen firefighters and Trucks 2, 4 and 5 responded.

On April 4 at 11:49 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a structure fire on E. 364 Rd. The barn and contents were a total loss. Trucks 2, 4 and Tankers 1 and 2 responded. Nineteen firefighters fought the blaze for four hours.
