Fire report for the week of Dec. 26

On Monday, Dec. 27, at 5:57 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to the airport to set up and protect a landing zone for a medical aircraft. One truck and seven firefighters responded.

On Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 12:45 p.m. the department was dispatched to an electrical pole fire behind a residence on S. Ohio. The situation was handled by the City’s electrical department. One truck and six firefighters responded.
