Fire report for the week of July 26

On Friday, July 31. at 12:58 p.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a residence on Hightower for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding. The problem was found and handled by the gas company.

On Saturday, Aug. 1, at 1:34 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a two vehicle accident at US 54 and County Road 101 for extrication and traffic control. Three trucks and seven firefighters responded.
