On Sunday, April 18, at 12:38 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a residence east of Cedar Springs on Hwy. 54 for a structure fire. Three trucks and 14 firefighters responded.

On Thursday, April 22, at 8: 59 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to the airport to set up and protect a landing zone for a medical aircraft. Two trucks and six firefighters responded.

On Friday, April 23, at 4:41 a.m. the fire chief responded to a residence on S. Jackson for a carbon monoxide alarm activation. No problem was found.
