Fire report for week of April 9

Sunday, April 9, at 4:11 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a natural cover fire on S. 501 Rd. Four  trucks and 13 firefighters responded.

Monday, April 10, at 10:19 a.m. the department was dispatched to a residence on N. Jackson to a car fire. Two trucks and 14 firefighters responded.

Wednesday, April 12, at 1:34 p.m. the department was dispatched to a small grass fire on County Rd. 800. Three trucks and six firefighters responded.

Thursday, April 13, at 6:55 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a natural cover fire on E. Patricia. One truck and 11 firefighters responded.

Later that evening the fire chief was dispatched to investigate a possible grass fire on E. 380 Rd. It turned out to be a controlled fire and no assistance was needed.

Friday, April 14, at 2:47 p.m. the fire department was dispatched on a mutual aid call for Roscoe Fire Department on a structure fire on K Hwy. in St. Clair County. Four trucks and 10 firefighters responded.
