On Sunday, Aug. 9, at 4:06 p.m., the Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on Gay St. Extensive damage was done to structure. Trucks 2, 3 4 and 5 and 16 firefighters responded.
On Monday, Aug. 10, at 5:44 p.m., the Fire Department was dispatched to storm spot in the county. Two trucks and 10 firefighters responded.
On Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 5:02 a.m., the Fire Department was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident on 201 Rd. Trucks 2, 3 and 4 and 14 firefighters responded.
On Friday, Aug. 14, at 11:30 a.m., the Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on B Hwy., a half mile west of Jerico Springs. Patient was life-flighted to a Springfield hospital. Trucks 2, 3 and 4 and 13 firefighters responded.
On Friday, Aug. 14, at 5:03 p.m., the fire chief responded to a carbon monoxide call on East Thompson.
On Saturday, Aug. 15, at 9:15 a.m., assistant chief and a captain responded for a weather spotting situation.
