Fire report for week of Feb. 24

On Feb. 24 at 11:45 a.m. the Department responded to another MVA on Y Hwy. 1⁄4 mile west of H Hwy. in St. Clair County. No action was necessary and all trucks returned to the station. Trucks 2, 3 and 4 with nine firefighters responded.

On Feb. 26, at 12:05 p.m. the Department was dispatched to the El Dorado Springs Airport for a standby for a helicopter landing zone. Six firefighters and Truck 5 responded.

The Department was dispatched on Feb. 29 at 4:20 p.m. to a natural cover fire on south County Rd. 501. The fire was extinguished. Nine firefighters and Trucks 6 and 8 responded.
