Fire report for week of Feb. 6

On Sunday, Feb. 6, at 8:29 p.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a residence on E. Fields for a reported natural gas lead. No problem was found.

On Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 2:55 p.m. the department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at 97 Hwy. and BB Hwy. to provide traffic control. Three truck and nine firefighters responded.

On Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 2:32 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a structure fire on Kirkpatrick St. Two trucks and 10 firefighters responded.

On Wednesday afternoon at 3:34, the department was dispatched to a natural brush cover fire on the conservation land north of town. Three trucks and 10 firefighters responded.

On Thursday, Feb. 10, at 1:14 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a natural cover fire on E. 50 Rd. Three trucks and six firefighters responded.
