Week of Feb. 9

On Monday, Feb. 10, at 5:32 p.m. two chief fire officers were dispatched to a residence on S. Maple St. for reported gas leak. The leak was discovered under the house and the incident was turned over to the gas company.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 2:58 p.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a residence on N. Kirkpatrick for a reported gas leak. After an investigation, the incident was turned over to the gas company.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 8:48 p.m. the FD was dispatched to a church on E. Hospital Rd. for a smoke alarm sounding. After a through investigation, no problem was found. Two trucks and 14 firefighters responded.

Week of Feb. 16

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 5:06 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. 32 and Patricia St.

Later that morning at 11:49 a.m. the department was dispatched to a mutual aid structure fire with Olympia Fire Department on Hwy 97. Both calls were cancelled enroute.

On Wednesday, Feb.19, at 4:15 p.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a reported gas leak at a residence in the Dedrick area. The incident was handled by the home owner.
